Interkomplekt was launched in 2000 in Sokolniki Culture & Exhibition Centre and turned to be the most important event of the Russian furniture market. Demand of Russian enterprises for brand new materials and quality furnishing for furniture manufacturing increases steadily. Number of exhibitors and exhibition total space grow with each year passing.
In the year 2005 INTERKOMPLEKT was held simultaneously with the exhibition EUROEXPOFURNITURE/ÅÅÌ in Crocus Expo Exhibition Centre. Alliance of two leading exhibition concepts is aimed at creation of information field for the acquaintance with the latest technologies, new design trends, original ideas and research works in the spheres, which provide furniture industry with materials and component parts.
These two exhibitions accumulating the whole nomenclature and all the latest researches of Russian and international industries promote solutions of urgent problems, increase investments appeal of the Russian enterprises, help specialists to acquire full information and establish business contacts with Russian and foreign exhibitors widely presented at this furniture forum. In the year 2006 the exhibitions welcomed 880 companies from 30 countries representing over 1,200 trade marks. The exposition was attended by 55,624 visitors.
