Andritz supplied new packaging paper line started up in China

   Moscow. May 19, 2009. /Lesprom Network/. Andritz successfully started up the new packaging paper line, PM 6, supplied to Hebei Yongxin Paper Co. Ltd., a leading manufacturer of high-quality packaging paper products in Tangshan, Hebei Province, China, Andritz said in a statement received by Lesprom Network.

The scope of supply included the complete stock preparation plant, the packaging paper machine with a wire width of 6.2 m and a design speed of 1,100 m/min, as well as a winder and the complete plant automation. The paper machine will produce over 300 thousand t of kraftliner and linerboard per year and will bring Hebei Yongxin Paper’s total capacity up to 700 thousand t/y. Thus, Hebei Yongxin Paper will become the largest containerboard producer in Northern China and will be positioned among the 15 largest paper companies in China.
