Norske Skog elected Eivind Reiten as new Chair of the Board

   Moscow. Apr 27, 2009. /Lesprom Network/. Norske Skog elected representatives to the board of directors and the corporate assembly. Eivind Reiten was elected new Chair of the Board, and Tom Ruud was re-elected as Chair of the corporate assembly, as the company informed Lesprom Network.

Of the shareholders’ representatives to the corporate assembly, Kristen C. Idebøen had notified the election committee that she would not stand for re-election. Torbjørn R. Skjerve was elected as a new representative to the corporate assembly.

The Norske Skog corporate assembly consists of 18 members, 6 of which are chosen amongst and elected by the employees. The Board of Directors has 10 members, 3 of which are chosen amongst and elected by the employees.

It is the general meeting which elects representatives to the corporate assembly. The corporate assembly constitutes itself.
