Universal Timber Resources Limited (China\Brazil) invested $1.3 million into timber processing complex in Zabaikalskiy region of Russia

   Moscow. Jan 12, 2009. /Lesprom.com/. On January 17, a new sawmilling capacity built on the base of Zabaikalskaya Forest Company LLC will be launched in Drovyanaya community of Zabaikalskiy region, according to a statement of Zabaikalskiy region administration press service received by Lesprom Network.

The sawmill is a part of the investment project of Universal Timber Resources Limited. This company which disposes Chinese and Brazilian assets invested $1.3 million into the project.

Zabaikalskiy region governor Ravil Geniatulin will participate in the opening ceremony. After the project presentation participants of the ceremony will discuss opportunities to set wood based panels production on the same industrial site.
