The Bulgarian company Trakia Papir Pazardshik to raise paper production
Moscow. Feb 13, 2008. /Lesprom.com/. Trakia Papir Pazardshik plans to expand its paper production by 60-70%. The Bulgarian producer of corrugated board and paper reports that its corrugated board plant in Pazardshik requires more paper to be produced, EUWID pulp and paper reported.
As a first step PAMA Papiermaschinen GmbH of Germany has received an order for rebuilding the wet end of the machine that produces corrugating base paper. The rebuild will increase the machine's speed to around 300-350 m/min, up from currently 220 m/min at most. Various reconstruction tasks are also planned for the press section, reports the company.
Trakia Papir belongs to the Austrian company group Duropack AG, which operates a total of 9 corrugated board mills and 2 paper mills in several countries.
